Ontario Science Centre Hub

With the introduction of the new Eglinton LRT line connecting the downtown core to the Don Mills-Eglinton intersection, as well as the proposed development of the neighbouring Celestica Lands, the site of the existing Ontario Science Centre (OSC) holds great potential to become both a mobility hub and community centre for the East York region.

Cumulus envisioned a mixed-use master plan to harness this potential through redevelopment of the existing OSC as well as introduction of new facilities and urban densification with residential and commercial high-rises overlooking the ravine. Suggested use focuses on leveraging synergies between the OSC, technological innovation and the community.
